Usage Guidelines
Magnetic Shield Usage Guidelines
To ensure your magnetic shields last long and keep your vehicle’s paint protected, follow these simple rules:
1. Surface Preparation
Before installation, thoroughly wash and dry the vehicle’s surface. It should be clean, smooth, and dry. For freshly painted cars, wait at least 90 days before first use.
2. Installation
Apply the shields at room temperature (around 20°C), starting from one edge and smoothing them down to avoid air bubbles. Do not slide the magnets across the surface—remove and reapply instead.
3. Use and Maintenance
Remove the shields regularly, especially after driving in rain or on muddy roads. Moisture or dust trapped between the magnet and the paint may cause micro-scratches.
4. Cleaning
Clean both the car surface and the magnets with a soft cloth and mild detergent (e.g., water with gentle soap). Let them dry completely before reapplying.
5. Storage
Store the shields in a dry place at room temperature. If rolled, keep the non-magnetic side facing outward. Do not fold magnetic sides together.
